Our mission is to provide a space for our guests to come, get pampered, and leave revived.

Naomi Michelle Salon and Spa opened its doors under the new name on July 17th, 2023. For those unaware, the previous owner sold the salon on July 16th, 2022.


After years of feeling the strong desire to serve the community, I eagerly took the chance when revealed his readiness to sell the salon. My lifelong aspiration has always been to establish a sanctuary where visitors can indulge themselves, experience ultimate relaxation, and depart feeling rejuvenated!


As the new owner, I have placed great emphasis on the importance of education and growth for all members of my team. We consistently offer cosmetology classes to stay up to date of the latest techniques and ensure our skills remain at their sharpest.. (pun intended)


Where are we located? Our location may be a bit unconventional, but our clients love the convenience it offers. We are situated near the Crystal Lake Post Office, tucked away on a lesser-known side street. With easy access from Route 14, Main Street, Pingree Road, and the Pingree Metra Train Station, our central location is a major advantage.


Our clients appreciate the tranquil and serene setting, allowing them to escape the hustle and bustle. Plus, during the chilly winter months, there's no need to search for parking as we provide dedicated parking right in front of the salon.

Continuing Education

Our staff is dedicated to keeping up with the latest styles and trends in salon and spa services. We actively participate in national and regional classes that provide our staff with fresh perspectives and skills. 


Scheduling

We make every effort to schedule your appointment at a convenient time. To avoid scheduling difficulties, we suggest that you schedule your next appointment after the completion of your hair, nail, or spa service when checking out. 


Salon Etiquette

Please help our staff to maintain their schedule by arriving a few minutes early for your appointment. New clients should arrive 10 minutes early so that we can get to know you and have you fill out our New Client Survey!


Supervised children are welcome any time, or by appointment.



Service Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not satisfied with your service, please notify us within 7 days to schedule another appointment so we can achieve and tweak whatever you need!

Cancellation Policies

Services at Naomi Michelle Salon and Spa are primarily "by appointment." Last-minute cancellations and no-shows can have a great impact on our commission-based stylists and technicians.


  • Regular Appointments

Your appointments are very important to our Salon & Spa Team. We hold your appointments just for you & ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way, our Salon and Spa professionals will be able to adjust their schedules and can potentially accommodate other guests. 


We understand that life happens! Unavoidable issues occur where you may have to cancel the day of your appointment. However, if last-minute cancellations or no-shows become a habit, we will request a booking fee to secure your future appointments. The booking fee is 50% of the regular service price and will be applied to your service total, upon completion of the service. Booking fees are not refundable unless cancellation or rescheduling is completed at least 24 hours in advance. 


  • Prom, Special Occasion, and Multiple Service Bookings 

We require a booking fee to reserve appointments for Prom appointments, Special Occasion appointments, or multiple services booked on the same day exceeding $150. The booking fee is 50% of the regular service price and will be applied to your service total, upon completion of the service. Multiple services are defined as 2 or more services for 1 guest or 2 or more guests in the same party receiving 1 or more services. The booking fee can be made with a credit card or gift card number and will be applied to the service total upon completion of the services. Booking fees are not refundable unless cancellation or rescheduling is completed at least 72 hours prior to the reserved appointments.


  • Wedding Parties

Our wedding party coordinator will help you plan for your special day! We require a signed contract and a booking fee to reserve appointments. The booking fee is 50% of the regular service price(s) for all members of the wedding party. The booking fee will be applied to the service totals upon completion of the services. The booking fee for wedding parties is not refundable unless cancellation or rescheduling is completed at least 2 weeks prior to the reserved appointments.


Product Return and Exchange Policy

We guarantee your satisfaction with all salon haircare product purchases. Haircare products are returnable for a full refund (or salon retail product credit) within 7 days of purchase and must be at least 3/4 full. 


Unopened, unused makeup is returnable within 7 days of purchase for a full refund or makeup product credit. We regret that we cannot accept returns of any opened or used makeup. We invite clients to schedule a complimentary, makeup consultation (15 minutes or less) with one of our makeup artists to ensure that they select makeup colors and products that you will be happy with.


Skincare products, hair/makeup brushes, and special-order items are not returnable.



Payment Options

We prefer cash or check but accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Credit card purchases are limited to payment for services, and retail product purchases. If you're leaving a tip for your service provider or assistant, cash is always preferred; however, we do have a Tippy device where a card can be used to leave a tip. There is a small convenience fee for using this option. Some service providers accept third-party money transfer applications. Check with yours to see if they do.
